Miami Heat

Tash embodies that Elle Macpherson bronzed (and I mean bronzed), sandy, toned and easy going flare from Down Under that the rest of the world has grown to love so much. Or at least, Instagram has, which is essentially the same thing.

Tash Oakley is the ultimate Aussie bikini babe if I ever did see one. We met earlier this year working together on a live stream series at Fashion Week, and have been trying to coordinate shoots every since whenever we’re in the same part of the world, but of course, time was always against us until we slowed down the pace back home in dear old Bronte. In contrast to the raw, clean lines of my previous swim shoot, Tash embodies that Elle Macpherson bronzed (and I mean bronzed), sandy, toned and easy going flare from Down Under that the rest of the world has grown to love so much. Or at least, Instagram has, which is essentially the same thing.

For all her frolicking in paradisaical white sands and turquoise waters, I have only ever known Tash to work incredibly hard. She and her business partner, Devin, have built something of a bikini empire, and are the only people I know deserving of the title ‘bikini connoisseur’ as Twitter bios.

So, I guess in the same way that I wanted to capture the strong and well-grounded woman that Jessica Gomes is in her natural habitat by the sea earlier this year, there was no swimwear better suited to Tash’s sunny disposition and admirable work ethic than these Jets suits, sneaks, and our favourite facewear of the moment.
