Gen Y

A lot of you will remember my interview with Gen of the fabulous This is Genevieve back in April (I can’t quite get my head around how fast this year has gone) with her fun and flirty knack for shapes and colours. Well, hasn’t this lady stepped up her game yet again! I’m loving how…

A lot of you will remember my interview with Gen of the fabulous This is Genevieve back in April (I can’t quite get my head around how fast this year has gone) with her fun and flirty knack for shapes and colours. Well, hasn’t this lady stepped up her game yet again! I’m loving how cohesive this beautiful new collection is with that brilliant crimson and bold blue print. The extremes of Margiela platforms never really clicked with me, but these beautiful beautiful shoes are just… beautiful beautiful – true to This is Genevieve‘s fresh vibe with a little bit of cleancut thrown in. Amen.

I think it’s the suede and straps. Having said all that, that amazing red shirt maxi really takes the cake for me! Can’t you just imagine running around with it billowing like billowy dresses do? On a beach. Or some field. Or other roadtrip-photo-type-places.

And while you all admire these amazing pieces (check out more HERE), time to announce the winner of the $65 gift card giveaway for my dear US and Canadian readers on the other side of the world whom I love so much. The. Winner. Is…

Woohoo!! And as always, there are always more to come – anything to thank you all :) I have a super huge one planned for when we hit 1500, but there will be a couple between now and then, I’m sure!

I promised myself I’d take a break from writing out music quotes to do some outfit shots for you all, but Sydney decided to drizzle ever so slightly all day. Which is fine if you’ve a monster mug of chai tea and the most enormous blanket known to man, but not so cool when you’re paranoid about a camera. The weather is looking up tomorrow though, so hopefully I’ll get something in for you all :)

P.S. you are all so sweet! It’s so warm and fuzzy to check your emails and comments and see a bunch with exam-good-luck messages :)

P.P.S. I’ve been absolutely terrible with keeping my lookbook page up to date, but I’ve tried to upload some things, so take a look HERE.

*love*

xx
